How to clear the acne removal spots?

I have been using this product called oxy and other products to remove my acne and proactive[but that doesn't really work]. Anyways I have seen a tremondous result of using these products but i have been getting black marks.....I am an African American but I have light skin so you can see it...what are some things that u hav done to remove these marks and is there anythin that i need to buy..........thanks
