What is this Ballet?

Hi, I am 13. I am taking 4 cles a week, each 1h. But all the 4 cles are on Saturday, I don't know if it should be spread over other day, but I have no choice. I am currently in Grade 2 Ballet. And one of the cl offerred a kind of dance, with black long skirt, pink leotard and tapping shoe. What dance is this and why does my ballet teacher teach us this?
