AP art concentration idea? Will it work?

For those of you unfamiliar with AP art, basically I need to choose a concentration and then develop 12 pieces that go along with it over the course of a school year. I was thinking of doing "death and rebirth" or "deconstruction and reconstruction", but do you think this will get old or repetitive? What are some of your ideas?
