How do I make my cats nose stop bleeding?

He had a URI and obviously still slightly has it because he's still sneezing but other than that he's completely normal, but he's sneezing blood. We took him to the clinic when we found out he was sick and we've been giving him Clavamox antibiotic drops, eye ointment because he also had an eye infection, rebound electrolytes and saline drops in his nose. The vet is positive that its just from the URI but he's constantly been sneezing blood for the past week and I'm not sure what I could do to make it stop, they also told me to put him in the bathroom with the shower on to loosen things up but he started panting so I didn't want to try that anymore. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.
